LOCAL RESIDENT IS NAMED PITTSBURGH PASSION "FAN OF THE GAME"
Ida Woester, representing Allentown Senior Center, was named “Fan of the Game” at the Pittsburgh Passion vs. Baltimore Nighthawks game Saturday night, May 26, played at North Allegheny High School’s Newman Stadium. After being selected, Ms. Woester was escorted to the field and introduced to the crowd. In addition to winning a Passion T-shirt, she and fellow Allentown Senior Center friends Theresa Meyer and Janice Tyler were led to the Passion “COUCH of Honor” to watch the rest of the game. The group was treated to refreshments of their choice and was invited to sit on the “COUCH” for the first half of the next Passion home game on May 16th against the New York Nemesis. To top off a fun-filled evening, the Passion won the game 49-0.
