In the team's first playoff game, the Pittsburgh Passion defeated the
Erie Illusion late Saturday, 63 to 7, bringing the Passion 2007
undefeated run to 9 -- 0. From the first round, the team advances to
the quarter-finals this Saturday, June 30th, at Cupples Stadium on the
South Side. Pittsburgh will host West Michigan, kick-off at 7pm. The
winner from there will move to the Semi-Finals.
All Pittsburghers are encouraged to join the team on the South Side
this weekend in the chase for the championship. The Passion is a
licensed team in the National Women's Football Association.
