PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Passion and Tailored Marketing Inc. (TMI) have
formed a strategic partnership to initiate an extensive sports marketing joint
venture for 2007. TMI will work with the Passion for a collaboration to
continue the growing visibility of women's football in Western Pennsylvania.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with this exciting team and enjoy working
with clients that benefit our region", said Tailored Marketing president,
Taylor Abbett. The downtown agency is a member of the Pittsburgh Advertising
Federation, and the Greater Pittsburgh Convention and Visitors Bureau.
"We are honored to work with TMI and their great staff, and we hope to bring
together much of the city this summer", said Passion owner, Teresa Conn.
The two organizations plan on bridging much of the South Side of Pittsburgh
in a large marketing effort to maximize activity and attendance for the Passion
season, running from April through June. Early plans include community-wide
post-game concerts with popular musical talents in the region and additional
partnerships with area charities.
Both companies are optimistic that this will be the most watched and most
enjoyed year for women's football to date.
